amra sabai raja - All the King's Men

We are all kings under the reign of our king

How else could we deign to unite with him?

We do what we desire and yet do so only for his delight

We are not bound by the chain of terror of a slave master

How else could we deign to unite with him?

The respect the king renders to all, returns only to him

No one has left us in any humiliating injustice

How else could we deign to unite with him?

We choose our way and yet only meet at his destination

None of us shall die in whirl of frustrated desolation

How else could we deign to unite with him?
